I was just going to email this picture out to our small group, but decided to share it on my blog instead because I am loving this group of people.  We had our Christmas party last night.  We ate appetizers and desserts, had a small baby shower for Nicole (who is due Dec 26th), then played a made up game of the “not-so-newlywed game”.  I have not laughed that hard in a long time especially over something pink and striped.  Not to mention a tripod, Gloria Estefan, and 25 inch television screen!

Not only is this group able to laugh together but they are so thoughtful.  Yesterday three different ladies in the group called to ask me if they could bring extra things so I would not have to provide them.  Rebecca offered to bring drinks and snacks for the kids, Jacki offered to bring Christmas plates and napkins, and then Teri called and offered to bring the drinks!!  I am overwhelmed by their thoughtfulness and generosity.  I truly feel like it is OUR small group.  The only thing Nick and I are solely responsible for is cleaning our house each Wed. and one lady even offered to come help with that??

Thanks to each and everyone of you for being a part of our small group!!  I look forward to another season together.  See you on January 7th!!
